Bassmonkey
Hiya - been using a Roland Bass Cube 30 for ages. I use it pretty much every day and it mainly stays at home but occasionally gets taken to a band members house for quietish rehearsal. Thinking about buying something new and maybe a bit louder. Must be going deaf in my old age! having had a cursery look, I am thinking maybe the Orange Crush Bass 50, also seen that Ampeg Micro (probably a bit more powerful than I need AND not as portable as I really need) BUT looks sexy. Any suggestions boys and girls? XMas GAS - its criminal ! Andy
BassTractor
I'm not totally sure, but I think that somewhere on BC, it was said that any Orange product with the word "crush" in its name is to be avoided. You could try a search. I need some sleep now, so I'll leave it to you. best, bert
Ultima2876
More powerful than you need - this is a good thing! You want whatever you get to be more powerful than you need.

[/quote] Definately. You can turn the volume on a big amp down, but you can't make a little amp (speaker,I should say..) reproduce louder low frequencies.
