fatback Posted December 7, 2012 Posted December 7, 2012 (edited) Trying to buy a female RCA to female 1/4 barrel shaped jack thingy (the thing that connects your pickup to your jack and lead) but can't seem to find an internet source. Am I calling it the right name? Who sells these things anyway? I don't need the flange part that hooks onto the string afterlength (thanks to Clarky's gizmo ). Thanks for any help. thisnameistaken Posted December 7, 2012 Posted December 7, 2012 (edited) 1/4" female jack should be a good enough name, also known as a tip sleeve connector (stereo jacks are tip ring sleeve or TRS). Maplins might do one. If not I imagine OBBM could knock you one up. Edited December 7, 2012 by thisnameistaken Quote
flyfisher Posted December 7, 2012 Posted December 7, 2012 One of these? http://www.maplin.co.uk/1-4-6.35mm-plug-to-phono-socket-adaptors-1280 If not, try searching using 'phono' instead of 'RCA'. Quote
fatback Posted December 7, 2012 Author Posted December 7, 2012 This is it, the barrel shaped female jack with the female phono on the other end. No flange necessary. . Quote
iiipopes Posted December 9, 2012 Posted December 9, 2012 Have you contacted Fishman directly about a replacement? Quote
Mr Bassman Posted December 9, 2012 Posted December 9, 2012 Just unscrew the nut and put the nut, washer and flange in a safe place. Job done Quote

By way of explanation, it's to have an optional connection for a second, magnetic, p/u. Belt and braces sort of thing. Quote
