Thanks Letts, I have actually stripped the finish on a USA precision but it did take me forever and when ive painted before it came out ok but that was on a Squier affinity.

Just spoke to TJC and he is just waiting on a compressor to arrive then he can do it for me :)

Haha it was slightly smaller than a hummer, a fiesta.

It didn't come out the case like this, it had cracked and as I picked it up most of it fell away so as it was really sharp and the finish is atleast about half a cm difference to the wood I lightly sanded it to smoother it out

If it was mine I would cut the finish off with a router and router sled! The rest with a scraper and clean up with a little sandin. Look like a decent ash body under there.
