Hey guys,

I'm sure you guys know all about these instruments, but I just want to add that I think this bass plays and sounds better than my old MIM Fender Jazz, and comes surprisingly close to the other more expensive Fenders I've played. The body has a few chips and dings around the edges and there's a small ding at the top of the headstock but the neck is straight and plays beautifully.

I'm after something with a maple board (Maybe a Squier VM Precision or Jazz) and I'd value it at £200 for trade. Or alternatively £170 collected (with a gigbag, straplocks and strap) for a sale, given the cosmetic damage.

Thanks for looking!

I've got a vm jazz could be interested in a trade. What's the main difference?

Differences are mostly aesthetic I think. Although the CV has a basswood body and a different hi-mass bridge.

My jazz has wizard eighty four pickups and a gotoh 201 bridge I'd value it at around 250 trade value.

I'm toying with the idea of putting a Dr parts precision neck on it though!

Pm me of you're still interested. Cheers

Paul

Bump for some better pictures.

Paul: Thanks for the offer but I don't really have the extra cash to add to a deal.

Yeah I think the added expense and the fact that I don't have a box makes it probably not that worth it unfortunately :(
