Rumple Posted December 17, 2012 Posted December 17, 2012 I sent Rob at Status a message and he said you can get a satin finish to the back of their necks, it's an additional £40. Looking at a few pics on Google it looks like the Status necks have jumbo frets rather then the smaller ones on the original MM necks is that true obbm? Quote

[/quote] I can't be certain however they look and feel the same as the frets on both my '73 Precision and '80 pre-EB Ray. They are certainly not vintage as my MIJ Jazz was refretted with them. Also they are lower profile than on a couple of other basses I've owned which had jumbo frets. Quote
