Where do you go to find bands\ Advertise yourself?

I thought i'd put this up in this forums (forgive me if its in the wrong place) but i was wondering what other sites people use to find new bands or list their availability?
Currently I'm on:

look under browse ads section, also visit & play at as many jam sessions in your area as you can, always a good place to meet people, best of luck, mike b.

I've had far more success by going to local jam nights. It has the advantage as well that because you will have already played with the person looking for band members you neatly bypass the audition stage.

So far I've found a guitarist through joinmyband, a singer through banxmix & a drummer through gumtree.
Just looking for a keys player. Maybe on here?
