starman
1965 L series Telecaster, blonde finish, a bit of overspray on the back of the special order maple cap neck (no skunk stripe), marked 3 JUNE 65B, 1-9/16" nut, 25-1/2" scale, 21 frets (pro refret), filled hole on the headstock where an extra string tree was. The electronics (pots date 26th week of '65), tuners, pickguard (slightly shrunken) and hardware are all original though Fender custom shop pickups have been installed. Original Fender hard case. Trade for a Wal Mk I or a couple of lesser basses (I'd say the Tele was worth around £3500). Collection from Surrey only. Mr H
I have a guitarist friend in Godalming to whom I sent a link to this thread. He wonders what the chances are of meeting you halfway, say at a crossroads somewhere, and trading his soul for your Telecaster? Best of luck with the sale otherwise!
