Best Replacement Precision Bass Pickups For Punk / Metal / Hardcore

Any suggestions for the best replacement pickups for a P bass for playing Punk / metal / hardcore stuff ? I have a budget of around £80. I have tried the Kent Armstrong Hot Vintage Ceramic pickups on an old P bass which really sounded nice but wanted to know if there was any other opinions out there.

I think for the music described, Seymour Duncan 1/4 Pounders, as Charic says.

As above, just fitted a set of quarter pounders in my latest project p bass. Haven't actually gigged it yet but sounded good in rehearsal. Will gig it this coming saturday.

Another vote for SD 1/4 Pounder ... unless you can pick up a s/h Wizard Area 51 Stealth pickup off BassChat. Similar to a 1/4 Pounder but even more pokey. Wizard don't list them for sale any more (probably were a bit special interest, although I bet they'd make you one for £70-odd)

Not wanting to sound like a broken record, but SD 1/4 pounder. I stuck one in my P and love it. Have that pickup solo'd and it's as arsey as you like.

I have a set of boxed Nordstrand NP4 pickups for £80 posted. They have great punch, power and a hollow grind, perfect for a powerful bass sound.
