Beer of the Bass Posted December 17, 2012 Posted December 17, 2012 (edited) This is a nice, Japanese made Chorus pedal from the 1980s. Locobox are a bit of an obscure brand, but this is a fairly typical analogue chorus, it's clean and quiet, doesn't lose any low end and sounds as good as the better known names of the time IMO. It has a metal chassis, standard power socket and buffered bypass like the Boss pedals, so it should integrate into any pedalboard easily. I've never tried it in a stereo setup, so can't comment on that aspect of the pedal, but using the main output in a standard mono setup works very well. It comes in its original cardboard box. It works well for both bass and guitar, but I'm finding I don't really need a chorus at the moment, so here it is. Here's a live video using the Locobox at a fairly subtle setting - it will go faster and deeper than this if desired. I'd like £35 including UK postage.
