gjones Posted December 18, 2012 Posted December 18, 2012 Fender use the 4 ohm version of this speaker in the TV15. I used to have one and they sound great in an old school motown way. Good price too. Have a bump on me.
gjones Posted January 13, 2013 Posted January 13, 2013
Bump...... Trade for a compressor or overdrive or chorus pedal.
Hmmmmm.....I don't have any of those other pedals but I do have a Boss GEB-7 graphic equaliser. It's very good for tweaking your sound live or recorded and using as a pre-amp (many DB players use it). http://www.bossus.com/gear/productdetails.php?ProductId=153

Phil Starr Posted January 14, 2013 Posted January 14, 2013 I'd go for the kappalite which will work well in that sized cab, the only downside is that the cab will be fairly difficult to re tune with it's shelf port but you will probably get away with it.
stevie Posted January 19, 2013 Posted January 19, 2013 No idea why this is hanging around. It models exactly the same as the Eminence 3015 which costs £150+. Granted, it's not got a cast chassis but it is comparable with the Eminence in every other way. It has a useful response up to 4kHz and works well in the 100ltr cabs that Trace, Ashdown and others make.
voxpop Posted January 19, 2013 Author Posted January 19, 2013 Think no one has any cash. Its a great drive unit and £30 is a stupid price but it needs to go.
Jabba_the_gut Posted January 19, 2013 Posted January 19, 2013 £30 is silly cheap. I quite fancy it as a replacement for the speaker in my Ashdown mini 1x15 so that cab can be used with my ABM Evo 500 on it's own, but like others just can't justify it at the moment. Have a bump anyway
