Bag for Ampeg PF500?

Hey people,

I've got a case for my ampeg PF500 made from one of those silver boxes you get from maplin and B&Q and the like but...

I have seen a few people saying they have theirs in a padded laptop shoulder bag type thing, and would quite fancy that for portability etc.

What type of bag does anyone use, or what size laptop bag would I need?

Anyone help with pics or info of what they use please?

I used a TC Electronic head bag. Fit the PF500, bunch of leads, ME-20b and other assorted gig crap just fine.

Very well build, tough material, heavy duty zips and insanely strong Velcro.

That's the bastard!

Probably a bit more expensive than your usual laptop bag, but it's got loads of padding, a thick strap and it's extremely hardwearing.

Yeah it looks like it'll do the job and keep the amp safe! How's the fit of the amp within it? Does it move around or is it pretty snug?

that's the same bag I use. It's excellent. Snug fit and room to put some leads. buy it!!

mines in a standard Dell laptop bag, very snugg fit and a shoulder strap so you can carry it in to the gig over your shoulder with your bass in one hand and your cab in the other, less trips to and from the car!

Yes, the TC Electronic one is a very good bag for the PF500, fits nicely in there, quite snug, no room for excess movement.
