Guitar-restaurant
For sale this beauty: Its a Ibanez/ Yamato les paul (previous owner said that this is ibanez but there is "yamato" written on capciators so I'm not sure) I think its made from mahogany because its a heavy one. Two pickups with Hi-gain output 2x tone, 2x volume and 3 way switch. This guitar is very, very comfortable to play and has got a lot of bottom without lack of mids and highs. Guitar is after little restoration: -Frets leveled and polished nice -All the body, neck and hardware cleaned and polished. -Electronics cleaned -Fretboard cleaned with dunlop 65 series Tuning is very good - bridge is made from mahogany and you adjust it position with moving it. String height: 2,3mm and 0,3mm relief - pretty comfy to play! Guitar is located in Poland. I will ship worldwide (shipping to uk is 27gbp) I have good fedback because of my YT channel;) (check the rest of guitars:) ) Price is 390GBP I will trade for cool cab to my all tube amp or cool guitar:) my email: mateusz.mroku (at) gmail.com more pics: http://s1226.photobu...mview=slideshow Edited December 18, 2012 by Mathew Piotrowski
pete.young
I'd have done anything for one of these in 1974. Good job I never met Jimmy Savile! Looks fantastic. If only it were in the UK I would be interested. I think you're right about Yamato - it's very similar to pictures I've seen of National branded instruments which were apparently made in the same factory. The headstock, zero fret and bridge says to me it's not Ibanez, though I'm not an expert. Short scale, I take it? Hopefully noel27k will see this and know more. Guitar-restaurant
hey. What is the matter that I'm from Poland? Check my YT channel! It is short scale and each string sounds equal and tight. I can ship it for 27 gbp and it will be at your doors on 5-7 days. I also seen Ibanez basses with zero fret. BTW. Isnt ibanez/yamato/cimar the same factory? Like Pearl/luxor/Emperador/Tacoma/Maya?
pete.young
Nothing personal, just that I don't buy instruments from people I don't know without playing them first and I have no plans to visit Poland in the near future. Quite happy to meet up with you next time you are in England. As far as I know, and I'm quite happy to be corrected by someone who knows better, Yamato were made by the Tombo company. Ibanez and Cimar were made by Matsumoko and Tama and in the case of Ibanez, lots of other firms too.
