uncle psychosis Posted December 18, 2012 Posted December 18, 2012 Browsing Thomann and came across these; http://www.thomann.de/gb/gretsch_g2210_junior_jet_bass_black.htm I think they look great...anyone tried one? Quote
bertbass Posted December 18, 2012 Posted December 18, 2012 I like it but it's only short scale. Quote
BetaFunk Posted December 19, 2012 Posted December 19, 2012 I like them because they are short scale. The Jet II is also worth looking at. Quote
bobpalt Posted December 19, 2012 Posted December 19, 2012 Got one to use in our practice room, which is tiny! Absolutely brilliant for the price, can't fault it. I have no idea what it would sound like in a gigging situation, but in the practice room its really good. Well made too, and looks cool. Pocket money price. Quote
JapanAxe Posted December 19, 2012 Posted December 19, 2012 Some of these 'fun' basses actually have a useful gigging voice, so worth a try, especially if you can hear what it sounds like alongside other instruments, Quote
Donnyboy Posted December 20, 2012 Posted December 20, 2012 I had a wee go at one . Looks and sounds good to me. End of review. Quote
terocious Posted December 20, 2012 Posted December 20, 2012 I have one. Good value for the money. I have had some problems with E-string not playing very well, but now with GHS boomers it's OK. It sure looks great and the volume knob is excellent - very intuitive and good responsibility all the way from 0 to 10! Quote
Big_Stu Posted December 20, 2012 Posted December 20, 2012 Nice, it'd be a tough call between one of those & an EB0. Quote
