Spector Performer Series

So I've agreed to go try out Spector Performer 4 on Friday from a lad that's selling one near me. Just wondered, having never owned or played a Spector - what can I expect? It's priced at £150 which seems to be pretty good value I thought.....

It's also loaded with a set of EMG's so I'm pretty looking forward to it! Just wondered if anybody has ever played/owned/tried one?

Had a Spector Performer DLX and it was a great sounding budget bass. Had EMG SSD pickups wich i thought were nice and punchy and the neck was nice. Only sold it because i bought a couple of more expensive Spectors but it got me started with the brand.

Any Spector I have played/owned has been fantastic.

And my Legend is my *go to* bass every time.

For 150 notes you'll be hard pressed to find a better bass. They're extremely versatile and the playability is top class for what would be classed as a budget model.
Prepare yourself for Spector GAS.

I have a Legend 4 and a Euro 4 on order , I have yet to hear anyone find any real fault with Spector stuff
