EBS power supply cable

Can anyone tell me if EBS pedals would need EBS power distributor cables (the small ones not the actual mains plug) as sold by EBS or will any make do?

yes the 9v pedals but, just like jack plugs have a slight size difference, noticeable especially if the jack socket is a stereo barrel type.
I've been having a little trouble with power supply to EBS pedals on my Boss pedal board...
