Hobbayne Posted December 21, 2012 Posted December 21, 2012 (edited) Apart from the re finish, it looks in good nick. I presume its all original too! Edited December 21, 2012 by Hobbayne Quote
Chris Horton Posted December 21, 2012 Posted December 21, 2012 Price Maybe slightly high for a refinish. Quote
Ghost Rider Posted December 21, 2012 Posted December 21, 2012 The Sellers feedback is not so great. Quote

Although to be fair, he has posted pictures of them, so I doubt he's trying to hide anything. In any event, looks a decent buy at under £1k Quote
The Dark Lord Posted December 21, 2012 Posted December 21, 2012 It's odd that the colour under the pickguard is so different to the rest of the body and the headstock. I know wood coloured ones are more prone to this - but it seems very stark in this case. Quote

It almost looks as though its not be refinished under the pickguard? Quote
Protium Posted December 21, 2012 Posted December 21, 2012 The front of the headstock looks very dark too, compared to the rest of the neck Quote
karlfer Posted December 21, 2012 Author Posted December 21, 2012 Thanks lads, very tempted and it's only 20 miles away. Going to have a think, but if it goes, well, no prob. Reality is there is a rather rare Warwick on here that I have my eye on. The last one very similar went on FEEBay for £475. I would go to £600, but he is wanting quite a bit mpore than that and I ain't gonna lowball him. Decisions decisions Quote
Rick's Fine '52 Posted December 21, 2012 Posted December 21, 2012 Not sure why it's been stained around the guard, and then the same stain used for the front only of the headstock, looks a bit orangy for my taste. Because the face of the headstock has been done, it will be difficult to change the refin to one of your own choice, kinda stuck with that really! I also think it's a little pricey for what it is. I'm sure it plays well, even if it looks a bit odd. Quote

karlfer Posted December 22, 2012 Author Posted December 22, 2012 Bollocks, it only went for £800 Quote
