I focussed what little spare cash I had on outfitting a workshop so I can make my own insturments . Although if I have to move again to find work, I'll have to pack the lot up. [/quote] Yeah, spot on there Rick. Have been on the eternal quest for the right bass, however I think (well know) I`ve found it, in my 2011 US Standard Precision. Nothing fancy, fairly lightweight (about 8.4lbs I think) gets the job done, whilst being so easy to play, it virtually plays itself, or seems to.
