Westie9
We are just venturing into the realms of lighting. I've been looking at the Kam Powerbar for the danceoor. Has anyone any experience of these? Any good? Adequate by themselves for a medium size hall or do we need something else too? We'd also like a colour wash for the band, perhaps with the colour changing every 2-3 mins or so. Would the best way to do this be to have 2 mounted led lamps on each back corner pointing down or lit from the front 2 corners? Any recommendations as to makes, companies, stands etc??? I've got a budget of £400. I don't want to sacrifice on quality, so if I need to raise more, so be it. Any help would be greatly appreciated. davehux
We've been using a pair of Equinox Micro Bar 4 x LED units for the last year. Come with the stands and the case. Sturdy but not massively heavy, more than enough illumination for our 5 piece pub band. Easy to cycle through the pre-sets or the solid colours with the footswitch . The sound-2-light function is great for that opening 'blast of light' on the first 4-5 bars of the first number, then I kick in one of the pre-sets. http://www.djkit.com/equinox/equinox-micro-bar-system.html?cat=
