VM 5 String Squier Jazz- Controls

This may seem a silly question but am a bit confused with said Bass.

All the photos of Jazz Basses show 2 large and 1 small knob in that order so I'm assuming Volume 1, Volume 2 and Tone?

Mine has 3 round chrome knurled knobs but seem to be in the reverse order: Tone, V1 and V2.

The obvious thing is to tap the poles and turn the knobs and work out what is what, but that does not seem to be consistent with what I'm doing to the knobs...sometimes both pickups click even though one volume is off.


Anyone like to give me their interpretation of what the controls actually do please?

Could be rewired as a Vol Tone Blend? The VM's do have crome knobs all the same size.

The VM 5ers came in the standard VVT setup.

When I had it I'm pretty sure it was (looking from above when playing,left to right) neck vol,bridge vol and overall tone. Although id never played a jazz before so all seemed normal to me
