warwickhunt
WoT has just been around to mine and he happened to have the RB IV with him... Swiss Army Knife of tone is the best way to describe it! If anyone is dithering over this bass I'd get it bought sharpish, when will you see another 4 string version of one of these and certainly in this colour combo! wateroftyne
Last bump, and I'll forget about selling it for a while and just play it. Which is far from a hardship. :-) Edited January 12, 2013 by wateroftyne
xabixu
It's a very nice bass. Some people say it's the best one made by Fender. And i appreciate the first song you post, i really like the singer's voice.

wateroftyne
Something else to mention - The Bass Doc and I have had a blummin' good look at it, and neither of us can see a join anywhere in the body. It's either an astonishingly good match, or a one-piece body (which would be virtually unheard of).

Rhammond
Hi !! Y discover your RB IV for sale ! Has it been sold ? Would you send it in Versailles near Paris if not yet sold ? Very excited as impossible to find by our country !
wateroftyne
Hi Rhammond It's still available, but I'm not keen on sending it out of the UK to anyone but an established Basschatter, Sorry about that.
Rhammond
You don't have any risc as the buyer will pay before you send it. Do you know the shipping cost ? Edited February 8, 2013 by Rhammond
wateroftyne
It would have to be a direct bank transfer - not PayPal. if you're OK with that, I'll get a shipping quote for you. (Sorry to do this on the thread, but I've had other offers from overseas and this will be useful for them).

wateroftyne
I managed to grab a few minutes to record a little bit with my Zoom H2 which gives you an idea of the tones available from this all-passive beauty. Disclaimer: I know the playing is terrible. I only had a few minutes spare before the house was overtaken by kids again, so I didn't have a chance to think about what to play. It's literally plunking around.
