wateroftyne Posted April 15, 2013 Author Posted April 15, 2013 Apologies for the double bump, but as the sun is out, I can take some more pics...
wateroftyne Posted April 21, 2013 Author Posted April 21, 2013 Here's an 11-minute clip that'll give you a good idea of the versatility of these basses... http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=msMB0qXZUmA
wateroftyne Posted April 27, 2013 Author Posted April 27, 2013 I've been playing it a lot recently, and it's making me think about selling my Jazz instead. Which would be ridiculous - so someone needs to buy it, quick. Here's someone else on an RBIV: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=vfEXBpz620U

Nice potent, honky jazz; solid Stingrayesque slap tones and I know these basses do a very good P impression too, all from a passive circuit! In reality no matter which one goes you'll probably be sorry. Hard choice, but I know which way I'd go
wateroftyne Posted May 8, 2013 Author Posted May 8, 2013 Yeah... I think it's the right decision. I was going to sell my J instead, but I've just listened to a recent recording of it and it sounds great. Bugger it - I'll keep the lot.
