What do you keep your cables and other tat in?

I've got mine in a holdall, basically a large bag.

What do you keep your cables and other crap in, all those packs of strings, tools, but mainly cables.

Why have I got so many bloody cables anyway?

I keep everything in a plastic under bed storage box. Its got a big surface area so its easy to find things- they don't get buried.

I just take out a couple of cables (one for plugging in, one spare) and stick them in my case when I'm going out.

I,ve got a rucksuck full of cables and assorted gubbins. The most important thing being a holder that clips to my mike stand that I keep my pint in!!

Everything fits in the gig bag at the moment. When I was gigging regularly I had an army surplus ammo box. All cables, tools, wireless stuff, gaffer tape etc... in a sturdy steel box ready for throuwing around the back of a van.

I've got a set of cables in my 'studio' for home practice and another set in my gig bag for, er... gigs. And rehearsals.

I got a Marshall 50th anniversary T back in August and they gave me a nice hessian type 'man bag' as wrapping for the T. carries my cables very nicely and has Marshall all over it too...result!

I`ve an aluminium type case that I keep the whole lot in and use for gigs, but for rehearsals, where I just use instrument lead & mains lead, I use a Gator bag - could probably fit them in the instrument case, but being an OBBM lead, far too good quality to scrunch up like that.

At the moment they are all in a plastic tool box but sometimes I use one of those metal briefcase type things. The only problem with the briefcase thing is that you put everything in nice and neatly and then have to turn it up on it`s side to transport and everything fly`s around inside. But they look cool!

I think I have a toolbox fetish as I love going into B&Q and admiring them.

I use one of those aluminium briefcases from B&Q. I keep my DB pre-amp/buffer in the DB gig bag on the basis that I only need that when I need the DB but the case comes with me regardless of whether it's a gig or rehearsal, DB or bass guitar. That way, I never have to think about whether I've got what I need.

I've got a little sports bag that I keep all my cables, spare strings, tools, picks, etc in. Nice and compact, with room to spare.

I use one of my old football kit bags. It's got a pocket at each end, which are handy for strings, batteries, fuses, tools, torch etc middle bit for leads, towel, pedals. And the shoulder strap means its an easy carry.

I've got a couple of aluminium boxes-One for instrument and mic cables,4 way,2 way,tuner,volume pedal,
DI box,patch cables and picks-The other for In-ear's,strings,another DI,mic's(vocal and bass),power supply,
batteries and other small things.

A small roller suitcase. Got some Velcro from the local market and use that to tidy them together.

I go for compact. Between the pockets on my igig and my gator pedal case I manage a ton of gig junk no extra bag required.

I dought one of those two tier tool boxes from B&Q for 20 quid. Has wheels on the bottom and a handle which folds up so you can pull it. Brilliant buy it was.

I have a little retro sports bag. When I was more of a kit monster I had a tool box (top tip for gear heads) but now I just need a few things so the bag does the job

Two cables and small phillips screwdriver all fit in my gig bag no prob. That's all I've got really.
