Gareth Hughes Posted December 28, 2012 Posted December 28, 2012 Have a bump for a great bass from a great guy. Had my Matt Freeman sig for about a year now and love it - more so than the Fender 2008 Am Std and Fender Japanese 70's Reissue Precisions it replaced. Just something about it that feels. and sounds, more right. Forget what you think you know about Squier's - these new ones are outstanding. And Basswood for a body sounds great - and weighs a lot less than the usual suspects. File this bass under - If I didn't have one already.......
dannybuoy Posted December 28, 2012 Posted December 28, 2012 Any dings at all, and do you still have the original pickup and bridge?
XPAULUSX Posted December 29, 2012 Posted December 29, 2012 Very interested in this, would like to see some pictures!
krispn Posted January 9, 2013 Author Posted January 9, 2013 What that coming over the hill it's a BUMP!
franzbassist Posted January 10, 2013 Posted January 10, 2013 I was the original owner of this bass. It really is a VERY good example.
krispn Posted January 22, 2013 Author Posted January 22, 2013 Certainly is. Currently holding down the low end in a covers band thing I'm jamming with some mates. Got round wound strings on her and the sound is classic! Pump it Up never sounded so good Still for sale but not in any mad rush..... actually this is the last bump for a while. This covers thing is coming together nicely and the MF is the perfect sound for it!
krispn Posted February 26, 2013 Author Posted February 26, 2013 Hey I'm bumping this as a pretty tasty bass has appeared on my radar!
