nevernever
Anyone know what these are like? (http://www.tanglewoodguitars.co.uk/products/default.asp?cID=26463296&sID=66460045) I love Tanglewood guitars, I think theyre great quality for the money. I'm looking to get a decent jazz bass I can use for cartin round- my other is a little too fragile for being hefted from pillar to post. Just wondered if anyones played one? I can't find one in my area at all (Leicester).
metalmickey
If you can get to a Dawsons, they stock a 'brand' called Farida - they are built by the same guys that put Tanglewood together, so it will give you a bit of an idea as to how they sound/play. I gave a P-style & a J-style a pop in Manchester, and I must say that I was a little impressed by the quality. But you could probably get a Tanglewood cheaper, so you could do a lot worse than check 'em out just as an idea of what to expect? Happy hunting!
