i have been listening to this guys playing from the early Galliano years... i have listened to the children of judah and a Push track called gimme some more.. but his playing on these tracks are superb.. usually a laid back bassist but hes being very busy on these tracks... he bounces around those chords so well.. oh ok im a sucker for an incognito jazz funk track

I don't like Incognito they're a bit 'smooth'. I do like Ernie's playing with Push and Galliano though, he was a big influence on me when I was starting out.

I remember seeing this chap with Galliano back in the early nineties and thinking he was a wicked player . I seem to remember he was playing a Stingray . Similar to the above , I am not really into Incognito , but Ernie Mckone is a fantastic player .

I'll have to check out Galliano and Push, I LOVE this guys playing on Incognito's Surreal album! I'm still not bored of that album in the slightest. Great bass sound and great playing! I think if I could only pick one album to own, it would have to be Surreal.

His stuff for Galliano is really low-key, he keeps it really simple. Push tunes are hard to find.

Ernie's great, I'm currently covering for him at London Centre of Contemporary Music doing 1-1 and group classes, nice chap too.
