The bass and it's matching headless 6 string that Jon and I designed are actually 'flip paint' so they change from a rich emerald colour through blue to purple depending on how you hold them in the light. Indoors they mostly look purple under incandescent light. Taken outside, you can see the metallic finish with the purple on the horns and the green over the back of the body. No trickery here, just an amazing colour change flip paint! - Why did I chose flip paint? Because I couldn't decide if I should have a green or a purple bass! MoJoKe Posted January 11, 2013 Share Posted January 11, 2013 I used to collect purple basses, had three but traded them all. I used to have two Spectors, a EuroLX and a ReBop, and a Dean Edge. So as such can't contribute much more to this thread other than say how much I miss them for their colour, and would love to go purple again!!
