Shonks
Solid walnut body. (home sprayed in antique white - looking very similar to an aged olympic white finish) contemporary USA thru body bridge with saddle grooves. (when I tried to take the ferules from the back to spray the body I splintered the wood (dammit) so I left them alone and just masked them off in the end) Bartolini PJ set with CTS pots and orange drop cap Solid brass knobs and solid brass recessed jack socket. The neck is maple and the board looks to me like pao ferro rosewood. The truss adjusts at the body end and is working well. Its nicely factory varnished and has a vintage look to it The neck overall is brilliant and I urge you to come and check the bass out, you wont be dissapointed. The machine heads are cheapos but do the job ok. Overall you have a brilliant bass here and anyone who's familiar with Bart p'ups will know what this'll sound like. Plays and sounds like a pro bass and is as good as any USA Fender out there!! No brand name makes this a cheapy but the components make it a quality instrument at a bargain price £250 + post but rather it was collected the pickups have a little paint residue on them in the pictures but they have cleaned up ok - couldn't be arsed to take new pics Edited January 8, 2013 by Shonks
