Bassmurf
Saw a clip of Coheed & Cambria's Mike Todd on Youtube last nite and it looks to me that he uses a Geddy Lee jazz like myself and it doesn't have the white scracthplate on it! With jazz basses can you just take the plate off and unlike the precision you won't have a big gaping cavity? Cheers! Dan
Jase
You'll be safe with the Geddy, no cavities under the pick guard, newer USA models do have the open routing thing which is unfortunate.
The Burpster
But you'll still have some screw holes to fill and paint....
Jobiebass
some jazz's have a hole where its been produced... This is a MIM jazz, not sure on a Geddy Lee, just take a screwdriver to it, wont take long. this is mine (well untill a few hours when im trading it) Edited May 16, 2008 by Jobiebass
