fretmeister
Anyone had one? I've never done anything with skype at all, and I fancy the idea. Not sure whether a simple camera mic would be good enough - but then again I don't suppose he needs to know how bitchin my sound is... just whether I'm playing the note right! charic
If you have a soundcard with an XLR in you could always DI
fretmeister
I have a Line 6 UX2. Might that work?
charic
Through a line6 UX2 you could either use the instrument in (straight from bass or pedals but not amp) or you could use a XLR DI OUT on a head direct into the XLR in on the UX2. If you can do the latter it will nearly always sound better / more faithful to what you are hearing. I'm unsure as to what you're using at the moment amp wise but last I remembered you had a TC head, the DI out on those is great.
fretmeister
Sold the TC! Got a Genz Shuttle 9.2 instead. Had no intention of that happening, but you know when Mark at BD gets talking....
