karlfer
I am rather liking the look of the little chap in the following link. The kind gentleman selling it took the neck off and informs me the model number is PF-57DGF. Got the PB, got the dash, got the 57, buggered if I know what the DGF is though . Answers on a postcard please, I thank you! http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/170968812121?ssPageName=STRK:MEWAX:IT&_trksid=p3984.m1423.l2649
ash
Have a look at this - not conclusive but..... http://www.tdpri.com/forum/archive/index.php/t-265088.html
BigAlonBass
It seems like a fairly common addition, whatever it is. There's even a neck for sale on here with the same letters at the end of the number. I read somewhere that DGF were initials but that seems a bit far fetched. Edited January 8, 2013 by pobrien_ie
pobrien_ie
Oh and if it helps the bass was the standard (basswood bodied) 57RI.
karlfer
Many thanks fellas. It will be a wide neck, but I'm very probably going to have a punt. Karl.
pobrien_ie
It should be the 1-5/8" (41.3mm) nut width with a 7.25 radius. It's a pretty comfortable neck IMO.
ash
Looks a nice bass Karl go for it!
LukeFRC
DFG is fender japan colour code for dolphin grey which you find on the aerodine basses, why it's on this only some folk in japan will know! It looks like a good one though. At the worst it looks like a PB-57 as it seems to have the spiral bridge.
