phsycoandy Posted January 7, 2013 Posted January 7, 2013 (edited) From my research these are from 1980, and are very early Bartolini pups, are copper backed and show 9VPS hand written on the back. They are Jazz pickups, a long and short standard sized and in full working order. I have included a shot of the rear to show the 3 coil solderings as opposed to the usual 2 normally seen. Folk may know more and feel free to chime up and shoot me down, but suffice to say they sound lush:) "Toward the end of 1980 we started manufacturing vertical hum canceller designs such as our 3AV acoustics, 3XV Fender Strat* replacements and 9V J-Bass* replacements. Shortly afterward we introduced the 94J, our quadraphonic for J-Basses*." [s]SOLD[/s] Edited January 9, 2013 by phsycoandy
