Having a new bass made by Jon Shuker.. One of the 'wants' was for an usual fingerboard..I shall show this to him and see what he can come up with..

I just saw it and thought dang that is just wanting some frets and strings (or indeed just, the strings)

I've got a very old home build in my parents undercroft with a nice bit of greenheart for the fingerboard.
