Guest gazzatriumph
Hi, I have read somewhere about breaking in speakers, I have just bought a new Ashdown ABM 610 so wondered if this is true and how best to break them in if it is. Thanks for any replys

gjones
There's a bit of a debate about breaking speakers in on basschat. Some speakers, it seems, need time to loosen up when they are brand new. They may seem a bit light on the bass end for the first few gigs and you may have to add more bottom end than you may have done in the past with your previous setup. As they loosen up, over time, they tend to get bassier. You don't have to hold back as the louder and longer you play through them the better. Guest gazzatriumph
Thanks for the info much appreciated, as for searching, i wasnt sure if different makes/models would warrant a different reply, if my question bores you then ignore it.
