Fancy some sort of partial trade for my orange bass terror [/quote] Nope, never had any issues live or at home. It is sound. Really depends how much money my way, I am mostly after the money as there is something on Ebay I have my eye on.
Shockwave Posted January 17, 2013 Author Posted January 17, 2013 Ok, need to shift it. £230 picked up in London. Cheers! r
Monckyman Posted January 17, 2013 Posted January 17, 2013 Utter bargain, great amp. The cutting out seems to have been a gain problem exacerbated by clumsy compression. Setting the gain properly before slapping the comp on does the trick. Mind you, mine hasn't given any grief at all over 20 gigs, comp or gain or no. Somebody buy it.
Shockwave Posted July 17, 2013 Author Posted July 17, 2013 Ok, this needs to be gone, I am moving house and need the extra cash ASAP. So up for sale at only £200 FIRM picked up, cash in hand or bank transfer. I am very busy right now so I cannot post or Travel to meet.

Wooks79 Posted July 17, 2013 Posted July 17, 2013 That's pretty cool, any idea what cabs they were using with them? I know Juan Alderete obviously loves them too, did you see his custom white one he had at NAMM?
Shockwave Posted July 20, 2013 Author Posted July 20, 2013 Guys, as clarification if you didnt get it. The reason this is cheap is because I want it PICKED UP. I dont want to post or get a courier sent to me. Cheers! R
Truckstop Posted July 20, 2013 Posted July 20, 2013 (edited) Where in London are you mate? Cheers Alex Edit: just noticed Wimbledon in the title! Sorry, too far Edited July 20, 2013 by Truckstop
JapanAxe Posted July 21, 2013 Posted July 21, 2013 Quick question about the gain control - is this simply for optimising the input level, or can you get a bit of front-end drive by turning it up?
Shockwave Posted July 21, 2013 Author Posted July 21, 2013 I think it's a bit of both. I use it in a fairly high gain setting and does grit up. Perhaps not as much as the valve based models but it's a very good approximation. I'll be getting another once my money troubles are over.
