I have for sale a 1970's vintage ribbon microphone.

It is in great condition and includes the original case, original Beyer lead and all the very rare original documentation including hand written frequency plot graph. Check the pic's!

Hi,

Is this side or front address? I'm assuming it's figure of 8 given it's a 260 not a 160?

Kind Regards,
Shaun

EDIT: Did some googling, it's hypercardioid. Not sure I could stretch anywhere near £200 though, trying to save for a Shinybox 46MXL (amongst other things, damn this gear lust!)

Great looking mic though, given it's age.

Yes, its hypercardoid, so great rejection from sources behind. I already have a pair, so its time to get move this single one on. (Gear lust indeed!!)

Price is ono, so if your interested shoot me a pm!

(Shinybox looks cool, ribbons have been an eye opener for me, give you a great balanced sound, tailed off high's and a fat low end)

Ah, so tempted! How long have you had this? Has it been serviced/re-ribboned? I'm sure rewiring the TRS to XLR shouldn't be too hard.
