Will add loads of grit if needed and works as a damn fine boost too! Get it bought - http://www.soundslive.co.uk/product~name~A...ive~ID~8587.asp
That's one of the pedals I'm looking at... I've read the review and listen to the soundclips and I like it.
PauBass
I'm quite picky when it comes to effects, I don't use many and when I used them I always like to have my bass tone there with the added effect. I mean, I always prefer to have the blend option so I can choose the presence of the effect in my sound... Do you know what I mean? Has anyone tried the Voodoo Lab Sparkle Drive? PauBass
I finally went with the TC Electronic Vintage Bass Distortion and I have to say it's a great pedal but it leans more to fuzzy tones. Excellent to add character and dirt to your tone and then the boost switch to dial in a more distorted sound at the same volume. Now I'm after a Distortion and the tone I've got in mind is the one from the original Marshall Guv'nor. I know with this one you need a blend pedal to add clean signal but I really don't want to ad more pedals to my board. Any ideas about which pedal can give this kind of distortion and keep the bottom end?

There you go mush - blend, distortion, bottom end and only 60 quid brand new. Job done.

Swaff
I recently bought a HyperDrive and it's fantastic, any suggestions on sounds though? Ive been looking for a Entwistle, 5:15 solo kinda sound, but no luck so far. Cheers
