SWR Baby Blue and cab for sale. £400 ono This is the separate head and combo version, a bit rarer than the combo. This was my main gigging amp a few years ago, but then I started using smaller amps for gigs. Used with double bass for the most part. The rig has been well used but is in good condition. The amp has been serviced (lifted pcb circuit trace repaired), catches on the lid replaced. One handle on the amp missing. The cab has had a new tweeter put in, an original Bag End bought from distributors at the time, I'll throw in the old one which could be reconed if the purchaser has a mind to. Pick up preferable, it is a little too weighty for post I think. I'm based in London but am up in Suffolk frequently so could arrange a meeting place somewhere in between. Nickdb Posted August 13, 2013 Author Share Posted August 13, 2013 (edited) The rig is still for sale, but I've recently realised that the rubber surrounds for the woofers have severely degraded - a common problem apparently, and fixable. The amp has been serviced and is 100%, and the cab has a replacement tweeter that cost me £90(!). The woofers need foam ring replacing, which is a cheap part (less than £10) and a DIY process. I'll get around to it eventually, but £280 buys the whole lot as is.
