Mr. Foxen
Which one of the 2x12 or the 2x10 do you like the sound of?
theunconditional
Both lol i do prefer the 212 but wondered if having two would be to bass heavy or not
Lozz196
Two of the 212 in that case. This way use one cab for rehearsals/small gigs, bring out the other when needed, and there will be no re-eqing required.
JTUK
My tendency would be towards the 2x210 over 212's....but in this case, I might go with 212+210 if they stacked up ok. But... it depends on which amp.
Mr. Foxen
If you amp has a bas control, then that fixes the bass heavy problem.
chris_b
How loud do you need to go? Maybe you only need a 212? They can go pretty loud on their own. In the FS section there are 2 Bergantino AE210's, 2 Hartke 112's, 2 Aguilar DB112's and a 610 and 412. All fantastic cabs.
chris_b
....also what amp are you going to use?

Moos3h
I'll be the one to say this, it took me a long while to get it: Bigger speakers does not equal more bass! If you're able to, have a listen to them - I really liked the BC212 cab, but it's NOT bass heavy so I don't think you'd find it overpowering. Two of them would match up nicely but as always, use your ears Cheers, James
theunconditional
Thanks moosh i did like the bc212 it sounded awsome the rs212 was even better but twice the pricei was under the missconception that bigger means more but as i found out yesterday that the technology has moved on so much since i bought my last rig no kidding the little bh250 sounds better abd is more responsive than my 14 year old ashdown evo one and i just dont need to lug about a 4x10 and 1x15 any more i play in a fifties and sixties rnr band that also covers other stuff aswell so i need a portable rig that as iam not getting any younger i think if i get one of each i will have a rig for every occasion but thoses 212 cabs do sound awsome i was really taken with them i may even go fo a rh 450 later in the year aswell although after using the bh last night at a reasonable size gig without di i probably wont need :s
Moos3h
I think it's a good idea to have a rig that you can customise depending on the venue - I'm doing the same and moving from a back-breaking combo to a head and two cab (big gig) / one cab (small gig) approach!
