Guest MoJo
My wife took advantage of the glut of cheap B9.1ut's currently available to treat me to one for Christmas. When it arrived, the valve pre-amp 'accelerator' wasn't working properly. GAK quickly replaced it. The replacement unit has a slightly irritating fault. While in either 'play' or 'manual' mode the display screen will switch, of it's own accord, to a representation of a graphic EQ with 'Lo-Mid' next to it as if I'd moved the Lo-mid control on the parametric EQ except, nothing's been touched. Thinking it might be a dirty pot, I worked it back and forth several times but the fault persists. I've had a number of multi-effect units in the past from a Korg AX1-B to a Boss GT6-B and never had an issue with any of them. My wife believes this is why the B9's are so cheap at the moment, they're all faulty. She dismissed my theory that we're going to see a B5 launched at NAMM. Third time lucky......isn't that what they say?
