Dood Posted January 16, 2013 Posted January 16, 2013 Can I please bring your attention to the BassChat market place rule of no bumping adverts more than once in a 36 hour period. Please if you could adhere to it, it'd be appreciated. Thank you.
Hamster Posted February 6, 2013 Posted February 6, 2013 I looked at the finish on the photos - is that a little paint bubbling by the control pots, or just the camera/lighting etc? Ta
KingPrawn Posted February 6, 2013 Author Posted February 6, 2013 Defo no bubbling. it does need a good clean. its a grease stain. Not one I've done. was there when i bought it. i have to say its hard to describe the colour and the pics do not do it justice. its such a beautiful deep colour, with a slight sparkle fleck through it. i think the flash makes the stain look far more significant than it is.
Bassman68 Posted February 10, 2013 Posted February 10, 2013 Can I just point out that this bass is a series 4000 NOT a 3000? 3000's came in 3 natural wood finishes of Walnut, Mahogany & Cherry & production stopped in '89 when superceeded by the 4000, which was made from a synthetic moulding & came in various solid colours. Don't want to offend & good luck with the sale....
