pnefc42
Hi Guys Would anybody be interested in trading their SII headless IV for a custom built GB IV (built for me by Bernie in 2007) As much as I love the GB I'm just not playing it any more as all my work is now with my (very busy) 80s tribute band (hence the need for the SII - gotta look the part!) The GB has been owned by me since taking delivery and is great nick apart from one (very small) chip in the paint next to the rear strap button Couple of pics; The bass has the full Rumour circuit (although the control layout suggest otherwise - I had Bernie build it like this as I wanted the Rumour electronics but preferred the visual 'in line' jazz type layout) and also has a spare 'snot green' (Bernie's discription not mine!) scratchplate to give the bass a different (more vintage) vibe if required GB branded hiscox hardcase included (slighted damaged/lifted vinyl covering in one area due to inadvertantly leaving the case too close to a wall heater one cold witner evening rehearsal!) Any interest/offers etc either PM me or reply to thread - trade value £1000 Thanks and Regards Dave Edited July 16, 2013 by pnefc42
ZenBasses
Damn! This used to be up on the GBs website a few years back (or one v similar ) and I've always loved its vintage modern looks. Would look really good with my perismic sparkle GB IV Shame in just put my order in for a new shuker Incidentally in had mine upgraded by Bernie in 2004.. Basically it made the difference between series and parallel even more noticeable Really stonking price though.. Will be all the bass anyone needs
pnefc42
Yes this was the bass on the website (it was still being displayed in one of the galleries the last time I looked) And you're right it is a stonking bass, just not being played anymore! Also just to be clear the value I've put on it is a 'trade guide' against a Status SII, not really after a cash sale as it's specifically an SII I'm after Cheers Dave
