Is anyone able to Identify this Precision Bass Copy

I stumbled upon this Bass a few years ago and seem to remember being told it was Italian or Spanish (I really cant remember which)

Anyhow I'd be really grateful if anyone can help

Looks like a Schecter to me. Head stock may have been remodelled though.

yeah, i've bid (half heartedly admittedly) on a few of those Shaftesbury tele basses. Especially the ones with the cream body.

What do you think of it as a player?

Does this one have a painted back of neck?

yes the neck has been painted but is not original......

Looks like the pickup has been replaced, the one that's in there was made for a bass with much wider string spacing and doesn't fit the hole in the scratch plate.

Yes it has been replaced and the scratchplate has been cut a little to fit it :-(
