I can also vouch for the quality of US Fenders from this period. I have a 2001 P bass plus a Jazz and active P Deluxe, both from 2003 and they are all great players.

I'm afraid there's no room for movement on the price. I've already reduced it to £600 from £700 which I feel is a fair price.

Admittedly it's quite old now but the basses from that period are well regarded and mine is virtually unmarked. You would be hard pushed to find one from the same year in the same condition.

Don't let this go for less than £600. There must be a limit where people can't expect a price to go lower. This is one helluva bass for £600. If you can't afford it then you can't have it.
