I had every edition to the point where it was 'absorbed' into The Strad (at which point I bailed). Great articles, great music, great adverts! Astonishing quality and features on some really classy players. Oh those halcyon days!! Of course, it went the way of all things that matter..... Bit of a glimpse into the classical world for me...I always felt it had a lot of possibilities, like opening up into the EUB world. It reminded me of venturing into a "violin shoppe" and experiencing some of that special brand of disdain reserved for popular musicians, who used electric trickery to ply their dirty trade on the unwashed masses.
