Bilbo Posted January 17, 2013 Posted January 17, 2013 I have just got hold of some Acoustic Image gear and need to move my Metro. It works perfectly but has a hand-size strip of the 'carpet' cover torn off the edge of the back panel (which means it weighs 1g less). The damage is entirely cosmetic, does not effect the sound in any way and cannot be seen on stage. It is a great piece of kit and very versatile. Spec on the Eden website. New castors recently acquired so no squeaky wheels.
Bilbo Posted January 18, 2013 Author Posted January 18, 2013 Photos added (at risk to life and limb, I might add. Nearly fell on my asre n the snow trying to take them).
silverfoxnik Posted January 19, 2013 Posted January 19, 2013 These are great combos IMO; possibly the best combo available over the last 10-15 years or so. I had one for a few years and really liked it; the 2-channel facility is really handy in gigging situations, especially is you use more than one bass during a gig (which I often did). The on-board features, such as the semi-parametric e.q. , 'enhance' control, compressor and tube stage input mean you can do just about anything with them sonically. The only exception perhaps is that more overdriven, gritty rock sound - which the Metro doesn't really do unless you put a pedal in front of it. And that's why I sold mine one in the end as the music I was playing required a change to a more rock-orientated sound.. Another good feature is that you can run this down to 2 ohms, so you can add more cabs as required! Anyway, that's my 2p worth, and just to say good luck with the sale!
Bilbo Posted January 19, 2013 Author Posted January 19, 2013 Thanks for the endorsement, sf. I stress that all the features sf describes are all in full working order. The damaged bit is superficial.
Bilbo Posted January 31, 2013 Author Posted January 31, 2013 Would welcome feedback on the price vs damage ratio.... Bearing in mind this was £1499 new, I think it is fair but, so far, nothing. Would welcome some views.
molan Posted February 3, 2013 Posted February 3, 2013 Great combos - will go down to 2ohms as well! Full spec here: http://www.eden-electronics.com/products/combos/indiv/dc210xlt.asp

Bilbo Posted February 13, 2013 Author Posted February 13, 2013 It weighs 78lbs unboxed. I can't see it being cost effective to send it oversees.
Bilbo Posted March 2, 2013 Author Posted March 2, 2013 There is more one of these for sale on here for silly money. I can't believe people won't buy amps at 30% of the cost of a new one!
Bilbo Posted March 16, 2013 Author Posted March 16, 2013 More bumpification. Come on, people. Make me a noffer.....
marcus bell Posted March 16, 2013 Posted March 16, 2013 More or less ideal for what I want!!!! Wish I had the cash Good luck with the sale dude
