darkandrew
Hi, I've just spotted this on Gumtree: http://www.gumtree.c...itar/1006210102 An absolutely beautiful 1982 Aria SBR150 in what looks like mint condition with the original case and all the case candy that came with it for less than £500! The seller says that the active electronics aren't working, I assume they're refering to the "noise killer" circuit as the pickups on these are actually passive and the tone selector is again a passive affair which switches in preselected resistors (or was it capacitors, I can't remember off hand, I haven't opened my SB1000 up for a while). Just for the record, I have absolutely nothing to do with this sale and in fact if I didn't already have an SB1000 and I wasn't still waiting for my insurance excess to come back to me after some guy smacked into my car before Christmas I'd snap it up in a heartbeat. Actually, even though I REALLY can't afford it, I'm having serious GAS over this one and am contemplating selling one of the kids or some non-essential body part to acquire it.
