Triumphman
Just changed the scratch plate (it came with grey pearl one and i wanted white back on, made one from sheet) on my 1997 4003 and now the switch will only latch on one side, it won't stay on the treble side, just flicks straight back into thd middle. Latches in the bass side no problem. Any ideas.?

Musky
There's two little arms on the switch that the toggle makes contact with - perhaps one of those is slightly bent?
Triumphman
I did'nt want to bend them about too much, but maybe i should try it. Edited January 30, 2013 by Triumphman
brensabre79
Does it latch when the scratchplate is removed? It might need turning around slightly as its making contact with the side of the cavity or something?
iiipopes
Yes, check the physical alignment of the switch to make sure nothing is binding on a rout, or that a wire hasn't gotten caught up in the switch.
