Shockwave
Hey guys. Tried Email support with no luck. Does anyone use or know how long Pyramid roundwounds are from the ball end til it starts unwinding near the nut? I have a bass that is 34 1/2 scale and is string thru. This is the only Drop C set I can find without having to order custom from outside the EU. It needs to be at least 37 and a quarter inches long from the ball end til it starts unwinding at the nut end. Yes I can get super long scale strings, but not in drop C gauges. Cheers! Rob. EssentialTension
I can't help with Pyramid rounds but, for what it's worth, my Pyramid flats are 36.75" ballend to headstock silk on E string. A, D and G strings are all over 37.25" but not by much. Edited January 18, 2013 by EssentialTension
BassBod
Try emailing Bert at Hotwire basses. When I had some issues with a Pyramid flat set they put me in touch with him. His site also sells them, so I'm sure he can sort out what you want.
kyboo
I just measured it on my bass and it is about 37.75" on A string.
