EDIT - I'm losing stupid amounts on this, but it has to go.

So, I literally only got this earlier this week, but I've decided that I am going to stick with my 4 stringers for now.

It's an SR505, not sure of the year but it's a newer model with the mid frequency switch. Bartolini pickups and 3 band EQ.

It's in good condition, only a few little dings on the body, nothing major. Everything works fine. Comes with a new TKL gig back, and it's got new D'Addario strings on.

I'd like to get back the £350 that I paid PRICE DROP TO £250 plus UK postage, or you're welcome to collect from Gloucester.

Mate this is a thing of beauty. I'm still playing a SR500 4 string I got in the early 90s!
I'm seriously interested, can you elaborate on the damage? Any closer pics of dings or are they too small to show up?
What about fret and pickup wear etc?
Cheers.

Hello

I've PM'd you the following info just in case you don't see this :)

I can't see any fret wear of note and I'm not sure what pickup wear means - I can't see any physical wear on them and they certainly sound good!

Regarding the dings - I can only see three very tiny ones that are just about visible in the pics above - one on the forearm contour and two even smaller ones on the upper horn. I wouldn't say they were anything major at all. I'll see if I can get some better photos of them later on if they show up.

Ok mate thanks for that, I can now see small marks where you said.
RE pickup wear, I tend to put my thumb on the top of the neck end pickup and have worn it down over the years. Also you may find it scratched by plectrums sometimes. No biggy. I've got my eye on a few basses right now so I'll watch your post for updates and get back to you ASAP if I decide anything.
Cheers.

Here you go mate! I've been over the bass with my camera. The dings look worse than they are.

I agree, you really must be mad! These are lovely basses.

Also I've got to say you REALLY went out of your way to be transparent about those tiny marks on the body, props! :)

Good luck with the sale anyways!
