Kiwi Posted January 19, 2013 Posted January 19, 2013 Her floating thumb technique is pretty impressive. Something I could never get comfortable with, myself. Quote
bubinga5 Posted January 19, 2013 Author Posted January 19, 2013 control yourself man. .i did notice her right hand technique..she over does the vibrato in places (imo) but the girl can play... its one of my favorite Incognito tracks and she does it justice... Quote

danhkr Posted January 19, 2013 Posted January 19, 2013 Really good. Always like to see a player who knows 'how' to play not just 'what' to play. Very impressed. Quote
Kiwi Posted January 19, 2013 Posted January 19, 2013
How could you possibly play a five string without the floating thumb? You would need hoor of a long fingers
I'm 1.94m tall. Quote
KiOgon Posted January 19, 2013 Posted January 19, 2013 Just had to watch all her youtube clips - brilliant playing, completely in the groove, versatile & lovely too Quote

paul torch Posted January 19, 2013 Posted January 19, 2013 I'd marry her, but I would just feel inferior in the bass department. Quote

Dood Posted January 19, 2013 Posted January 19, 2013 It's great to see a musician obviously getting a great deal of passion out of playing an instrument but at the same time really delivering a superb performance. Doesn't matter what age or ability, I get inspired watching a musician lost in their moment. It reminds me why after nearly 25 years, I've never put the bass down. Quote
Owen Posted January 19, 2013 Posted January 19, 2013 I watched a lot of her vids on YT. I don't understand.......... she seems to be playing everything on the same bass......... surely she must know that she needs different basses for different styles............... what......... you mean it really is just in the fingers...............? How can I justify having more than one bass now then? She sounds great. Quote
